Welcome on the site of the International Gregorian Festival of Watou (Belgium)

We are sorry to inform you that, given the current corona pandemic situation, the 14th edition of the Festival has been postponed to 20-29 May 2022, with program in Watou from 25th to 29th May. The pre-ouvertures in various partner cities will start on 20 May 2022.

Four hundred and fifty fresh, young and for the greater part professionally trained voices will be bringing ancient music and texts to life during the 14th edition of for the International Gregorian Festival of Watou. Watou is, as far as Gregorian chant goes, the most important festival in the world. For people who love silence and gregorian chant Watou is a beloved location and a pilgrim’s destination. Enthousiasm prevails and audiences are fascinated.

Together with all the people collaborating in the festival, we are proud to present this triennial festival and to invite you to join us to discover this musical icon of Western culture.
