- this professional men’s schola from Tallinn, consists of singers, composers, instrumentalists and conductors, all of them interested in Gregorian chant.
- this ensemble produces a virile and extremely nuanced authentic sound with a remarkable feeling for timbre, expressivity en melody line.
- its repertoire contains early music and, via Franz Liszt, also includes contemporary compositions inspired by Gregorian chant. A number of Estonian composers, including Arvo Pärt, Helena Tulve en Erkki-Sven Tüür, wrote music for Vox Clamantis.
- Vox Clamantis was honored with the diapason d’Or for the CD “Via Crucis Franz Liszt” in 2013, and in 2014 with the Grammy-Award for the CD “Adam’s Lament-Arvo Pärt”.
